Because it is.  In longer context it is because Avalon is a belief system, a way of life, focused around the pursuit of a Chivalric lifestyle and virtues to find purpose, meaning, and enlightenment.  Avalon is not a diefying religion, it does not itself espouse a God, but does not deny one either.  Wayists can believe in a God or not as they choose.

This is in many ways the same as some Buddhist sects and other religious beliefs that do not worship a God but follow an ideal as a lifestyle.  But Avalon is a belief system that revolves around how to live life, not gain a reqard after death.

Avalon as a religion, a ministry, a church is separate from state and government so it can carry on its timeless traditions without interference.  Avalon serves Humanity through a belief and adherence to Chivalry, a concept that pre-dates many other religious beliefs.

Of course.  Information will be made available for those seeking to live a lifestyle based on Chivalry.  This, however, is not the same as joining the Order of Avalon.

No.  That is the short answer.  The long answer is that some people can join the Order, but it is a tremendous commitment and change of lifestyle.  It is not an easy path not one that can be follwed casually.  Being part of the Order, while life-changing, is not compatible nor achievable by everyone.

Yes.  To even begin one must pass interviews, a background check, and a fitness test.  That is just to begin real training.

The Order?  Probably not.  The Way is not an easy path, it requires much.  Great commitment, action, and a departure from mainstream societal thought and way of life.  If you must live a life of meaning, purpose, courage, and sacrifice then perhaps look into joining.

Yes every member of the Order has to be a proficient martial artists.  Order members may be called on at any time to protect themselves and others  and must be reliably capable of performing that basic function.

The Order stands for the Freedom, Nobility, Virtue, and Survival of the human species regardless of the political currents.  That being said Avalon and the Order are not compatible with "Woke" ideologies or many ideologies of the political "Left" in Western Cultures.
